How you can support the museum
The Museum attracts over 1450 school aged visitors annually, who participate in a range of learning activities about World War Two in the South West Pacific Area and what living in Brisbane was like during the period 1942-1945. School students comprise approximately one third of the Museum’s visitors each year.
The main objective of the General Douglas MacArthur Brisbane Memorial Foundation is to operate the MacArthur Museum-Brisbane. The Museum’s major focus has been on the preservation and display of items which contribute to an understanding of the period 1942-1945, especially by youth.
The Foundation is a not for profit and is funded through the generosity of donors. Your financial support will help us bring the collection to life through new technologies, programs and projects. We need your support to do more for those who have served our country.
